The last 2 weeks have been have been good but they could have been so much better! On the 9th of March the old boy Monton lined up in the Group 1 Chipping Norton at massive odds only to go down by the narrowest of margins to run 2nd and then the ever consistant Crafty Irna just missed out on winning the Listed Aspiration Stakes last weekend. They both ran super races but when you get so close and then just miss you can't help but feel a little deflated. At least we know their turn in the winners circle is certainly not far away.
