HELLO FRIENDS
I am delighted to report that I was able to secure two outstanding colts at the Inglis Classic Sale earlier this week.
The first of them was a Myboycharlie (lot 84) who does throw a nice type and this colt is no exception.
He is a very nice individual and a quality type with a lovely loose walk.
Myboycharlie was a Group 1 winning 2YO himself and sired Peggy Jean who won the Inglis Classic last Saturday.
Purchase Price $100,000

Meanwhile, the Not A Single Doubt colt out of Red Alert (lot 366) was the second top-priced lot in the whole sale and for good reason.
He is a smashing type.
I had some inside knowledge of this family as David Lamond and I bought his dam as a yearling in Melbourne.
She is a half-sister to a One Thousand Guineas winner, Lady Of the Pines, but what most people don't know about the mare is that she never raced only because she had a tendon cut in half in a barrier trial one morning at Randwick this was a huge loss as she had a huge amount of ability.
Purchase Price $170,000

Both the Not A Single Doubt and the Myboycharlie look like they'll be early running 2YO's and are bred that way.
I am genuinely excited about their future prospects and I invite you to come and inspect these two colts and make up your own mind.
The stable has had a good start to the New Year and may it continue for all of us.
Please don't hesitate to call me or have a chat next time you're at the track
All the very best
Ron
