It was terrific to see Martilago win at Goulburn on Thusday. This filly was having her 2nd start and was 1st up this prep. Leading up to Thursdays race she had trialled nicely when Sam Clipperton rode but unfortunately for Sam he wasn't able to take the ride on Thursday as he was still under suspension so Tim Clark picked up the ride and was rewarded with the filly winning the 3YO Maiden by .8 of a length.
